Lighthouse Preschool Academy

East Maryville Baptist Church is excited to share an upcoming new ministry opportunity launching in the fall of 2026: Lighthouse Preschool Academy, a

Christ-centered Pre-K program for 4 and 5 year old children.



As our church steps boldly into THE YEAR OF GO (Acts 1:8), Lighthouse Preschool Academy represents a meaningful way to live out our mission—reaching families, serving our community, and laying a spiritual foundation in the lives of children during their most formative years. This ministry is designed to partner with families by providing a nurturing, faith-based learning environment that supports both academic growth and spiritual development.


The preschool will begin with a soft launch during its first year. While the program will not be advertised publicly, church families are encouraged to share this information personally with others who may be seeking a Christ-centered preschool experience.

Program Details

  • Eligibility?

    Children must be 4 years old by August 15, 2026. This program is also open to 5-year-old children who are not planning to enter kindergarten during the 2026–2027 school year.

  • Days?

    Mondays and Wednesdays

  • Times?

    9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m… (Drop-off begins at 8:50 a.m. and pick-up is from 1:50–2:00 p.m.)

  • Location?

    Preschool hallway classrooms at East Maryville Baptist Church

  • Calendar?

    Follows the Blount County School calendar for breaks and weather-related closures

  • Tuition?

    $215 per month per child with an annual registration fee of $75 and an annual $100 supply fee

Program Highlights

The class will be led by a certified teacher with the support of a teaching assistant. Our goal is to maintain a class size of approximately 16 students, allowing for meaningful relationships, individualized attention, and a nurturing learning environment.

  • Age-appropriate, phonics-based instruction emphasizing learning through the five senses
  • Center-based, manipulative-driven math instruction
  • Christ-centered social studies lessons focused on friendship building and problem-solving
  • Daily structured physical education and fine arts instruction
  • Unstructured recess and creative, center-based play
  • Students will bring their own lunch each day. A small snack will be provided by the preschool.
